Peshtemal was created centuries ago out of the need to carry a lighter towel to the hammam. We went a little too far for this purpose and created Zarifi. In Turkish zarifi means elegant, delicate and fine; there couldn’t be a better word to describe this peshtemal. Most of our clients use Zarifi as a beach towel. It is very easy to carry and when folded takes the size of a book. Since it is very fine it dries just in 5 minutes in the sun. Zarifi is not our softest peshtemal but it gets softer and more absorbent with each wash. It is a very special peshtemal that flourishes with age.
